Workplace Strategy and Office Fitout

ACORPP Projects worked with Alinta Energy to strategically develop a project delivery plan which would meet the programme constraints of the project without compromising the quality of the fitout, physically, culturally and operationally. After initially exploring various project delivery methods, including a Contractor Management model, a tailored Traditional Delivery model was developed whereby the Construction tender was undertaken via the release of staged tender packages as the design was progressively completed. This method identified programme efficiencies and allowed a higher level of cost control, whilst providing the consultant team 100% control of the design.

The outcome is a visually striking interior that services both the functional and cultural aspirations of the organisation. Some of the key points from physical environment have been built into the strategy included the good technology integration; facilitation of collaboration & collaboration using technology, which included a strong roll out of video conferencing with the meeting and collaboration areas.

Due to the compressed timeframes, ACORPP specifically tailored the Workplace Strategy process to suit Alinta Energy’s requirements. The process and the content was compressed; however it still enables ACORPP to develop a Workplace strategy which successfully informed the physical workplace outcome and responds to Alinta Energy’s organizational values, future vision, ways of working and operational requirements.
